Career Transition
By understanding yourself and your experiences, you can better align what you do with what energizes you and gives you purpose. We work together through 1 on 1 coaching, assessments, and exercises to do just that.
This comes through assessing your current situation, delving into your past experiences, and outlining what is most important to you and your future growth. It is about building your network, perfecting your interviewing approach, and staying accountable.
Job searching can be daunting, but I will help you design an approach to find the right opportunities. It is about finding your path and the right job to match it.
We start by having a complimentary 45 minute consultation phone call. From there, coaching sessions will be for one hour each week or bi-weekly for a minimum of six sessions. The duration of the coaching will be dependent on how many hours per week you can spend reflecting and working on the exercises and what you are trying to accomplish. Most engagements last three to six months.
The process:
Deep dive on you and your history.
Explore what you like to do and what you are looking for in your career.
Give you structure to find opportunities or grow your current career.
Talk about what might be getting in the way.
Provide tools and tips for advanced interviewing and networking.
Career Navigation
This is for folks who want to stay at their current company and/or in a similar role, but want to think through their career path. Our conversations help uncover what steps need to be taken to think through advancement, internal dynamics and politics, and how to navigate important conversations.
Leadership Development
Using a variety of leadership development assessments, I will bring clarity to your leadership style. We will discuss various tools, skill development, and experiences to further develop yourself and become a more effective leader. We will also identify any opportunities for growth and develop plans of action for tackling them. The process will result in individual growth, purposeful action, and sustained improvement. Many tools also have a 360 component to them, which can be useful in analyzing how we think we show up vs. how others might perceive us showing up.
Inclusive Leadership
Being an inclusive leader requires intentionality and accountability. It takes work and the job is never finished. I provide tools through one on one and workshop work to help support you and your colleagues in the process. Topics range, but include unconscious bias, covering, intention vs. impact, coded language, and identity discussions. Workshops can be custom designed based on the needs of clients.
I am certified in the Intercultural Development Inventory. This useful tool can be used as a foundation to start building your own cultural competence.
Goal Setting
For many folks setting goals might be the easy part. It is the follow through that can be difficult! That is where I can help be an accountability partner by helping you think through the following:
· Identifying areas in your life you want to work on
· Setting realistic goals that set you up for success and helping you stay accountable
· Prioritizing those areas and goals
· Discussing the underlying reasons why those goals are important to you
· Uncovering what might be getting in the way of fulfilling those goals
· Creating healthy habits and reducing unhealthy ones
